Fresh Sunday

Fris buiten en de regen is ... zo veel beginnen voor de zomer in Nederland! 

Onze nest wordt langzaam bij elkaar komen. Schilders zijn afgewerkt en kunnen we eindelijk lay-out een aantal van onze cadeautjes van de bruiloft! 

Een paar Svesnkt Tenn schoonheden van onze vrienden uit Zweden, en een beetje DHS werklamp in chroom

Mijn favoriete Pols Potten. Nederlandse porselein specilaists, met enkele funky (twijfelachtige) punten! Wie wil niet een porseleinen ananas? 

We waren zeer gelukkig om zo veel leuke geschenken te ontvangen. Licht is altijd zo belangrijk, en als je uit de buurt van oude vrienden en familieleden wonen, is het leuk om hun licht schijnt nog steeds. 

Nu vanmiddag naar de woonkamer en zolder renovatie en het huis van plan is voltooid ... wat een jaar!

Soft Pink

It seems I have been very neglectful of the blog over the past few months, but with Spring on it's way I feel it's time to come out of hibernation.

Hot topic: Pink!

Always a firm favourite in my home, and also seen on the old blog, it is making a reappearance once again. I went through a phase of loving the Svenskt Tenn prints, but it felt like the living room just was not having a theme. ST is so abstract, and although it is nice to have flashes of it here and there, it sometimes feels too out of place in our old creeky pad.

The first port of call was Tine K. Soft pastel shades ( of which I have bought in blue in the past) were attracting me, but the cost was quite high for all it was really!

So I have thankfully come across a little gem called Numero 74, not sure how I missed this one living in Italy all that time. Their style is soft and playful, and in my opinion suitable for both living room and a kid's bedroom.
